MAP Policy

The Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy is designed to protect the premium brand reputation of ME BIKE, ensure fair competition among our authorized partners, and maintain the long-term profitability of our reseller network. This policy reflects our commitment to offering consistent value to consumers across India.

This policy applies to all authorized dealership owners, sub-dealers, and authorized distributors (collectively referred to as 'Resellers') of ME BIKE across India. It governs all sales channels, including physical retail showrooms, independent e-commerce platforms, and third-party marketplaces.

3.1 Designation of MAP: The Minimum Advertised Price for each ME BIKE model is established by the corporate office and communicated via the official price list. 3.2 Advertising Restrictions: Resellers are strictly prohibited from advertising any ME BIKE product at a price lower than the established MAP. 3.3 Definition of 'Advertised Price': This encompasses all public-facing communication, including but not limited to online listings, social media promotions, print media, email marketing, and paid search advertisements.

4.1 Indirect Discounts: Offering rebates, coupons, or incentives that effectively reduce the advertised price below MAP is not permitted. 4.2 Bundling: Bundling ME BIKE products with third-party accessories or services in a manner that devalues the core vehicle price below MAP is prohibited. 4.3 Evasive Tactics: The use of 'strikethrough' pricing, countdown timers, or 'hidden price' features (e.g., 'Add to cart for price') to circumvent MAP is considered a violation.

5.1 Promotional Campaigns: From time to time, ME BIKE may authorize temporary promotional periods where advertising below MAP is permitted. These will be communicated in writing. 5.2 Discontinued Models: Resellers may request written approval for clearance pricing on discontinued or end-of-life models.

ME BIKE actively monitors all sales channels to ensure compliance. Violations will result in the following disciplinary actions: • First Violation: Formal written warning and immediate correction requirement. • Second Violation: Suspension of product supply for a specified period (typically 30-90 days). • Third Violation: Immediate termination of the Authorized Dealer agreement.
